FOLK SONGS OF THE WORLD

A truly international flavour to this concert with folk songs from England, Wales, Scotland, France, Hungary, Norway, Yugoslavia, Italy and even a few from South Africa.

Many of the songs will be familiar and others will become new favourites. This delightful mix varies from traditional highland airs, sea shanties, Lullabys, traditional folk songs and even a few with a more modern flavour. Almost all will be sung in English except for those from South Africa (including N’kosi Siekele Africa - the South African National Anthem).
